FREAK explores female sexuality, self-image and sexual exploitation. It follows the lives of two women of different ages, embarking on very different experiences, as the same societal ideals influence their decisions. Compelled by the recent shedding of light on sexual abuse in the media and the cancellation of compulsory consent workshops at universities, Bristol-based company Bullet Theatre boldly and unashamedly explore the experience of being female, combining unique choreography with Anna Jordan's poetic writing. After 5-star, sell-out runs in Bristol and the Edinburgh Fringe, FREAK makes its London debut at the Chapel Playhouse this March.
